I wanted to share a good nature photographer that provides a lot of helpful information, Steve Perry. I have subscribed to his emails and watch many of his YouTube broadcasts. It is obvious after watching Steve, you can tell he is not just in it for the money, he enjoys teaching and sharing his photography knowledge.
Steve’s strong points include his clear explanations of the topic. The information is practical and he tells you how and why he does things a certain way. Steve explains in plain English the reason behind much of the camera technology, why you may want to use something and why you may not. As a bonus, he is funny. Even if you are not a nature photographer, a lot of his stuff transfers to other genres.
Much of his stuff is YouTube but he also sells (inexpensively) eBooks that are also easy to read. One I just recently purchased and am enjoying is his Birds In Flight manual. It has helped me with a few issues I have had with auto focus.
