A question from a FCC member: “How do you create bokeh?” The bokeh effect in photography refers to the aesthetic quality of the out-of-focus areas in an image, particularly the pleasing blur produced by a lens. It’s characterized by a soft, dreamy background, often with highlights appearing as luminous circles or shapes. This effect is achieved by using a wide aperture (small f-number) on a camera lens, which creates a shallow depth of field.
