Great place to find birds like Blue Heron, Hawks, Egrets and others in Isle a la Cache in Romeoville. They have a nice paved walkway which turns into a boardwalk which turns into a mulched path along the Des Plaines river. Very peaceful and scenic. For those of you that are historically challenged, this was used by the early explorers. Check it out if you are a nature dude (or dudette) or just a birder.
