Good news is there is a lot of DSLR inventory out there new and used. Not so good news, camera companies are not developing DSLR cameras or lenses and they have stopped manufacturing DSLR and switched their resources to mirrorless. What does that mean? The DSLR market will be around for a while and discounts are emerging. Get yourself a good deal on a lens you want and later you can still use it with a converter. How long will this last? Only time will tell.
